Do you Believe in Miracles? "My Beautiful Moment".

2011 was a year filled with surprises, twists, turns, births, deaths, disappointment, sorrows, joy and pain. We all experienced the good, the bad and the ugly. But, thought it all we triumphed and crossed over to 2012.

God has given me and another opportunity to share my faith walk with others. There were many beautiful moments along the way, allow me to share once such moment.

Five years after my Mom Sara suffered a debilitating stroke, two brain surgeries, she was left with loss of mobility on her left side and multiples bottles of medicines to take each day. During the late summer of 2011 my Mom, sister and I decided to attend a three day “Financial Wisdom Conference” at our church Crenshaw Christian in Los Angeles.

Dr. Nasir Siddiki was the invited guest for the evening; His wife Anita shared their incredible stories and their live changing miracles of God healing power in their lives. Dr. Siddiki was infected with shingles the worst doctor’s had seen and his wife suffered a pelvic blood clot after the birth of their son Matthew James, leaving her paralyzed. My Mom’s lost most of her mobility after her stroke, but she could speak. Our world changed she was traumatized, and so were we.

During the evening session on the last day. Dr. Siddiki and his wife asked if there was anyone who needed or wanted Prayer our answer was yes, Mom was a prime candidate.

As Women of Faith my sister and I agreed, stood and believed for years that our Mom’s healing would manifest and that she would walk again. As I stood in line pushing my Mom in her wheelchair we inched closer to the front of the line. Patiently waiting our turn we were ready for our miracle. Our time had fianlly come. Dr. Siddiki talked to my Mom asking her what happened; she told him she’s had a stroke. He asked her what she has wanted; she said to walk again. That late summer night I witnessed a miracle before my eyes. My Mom stood wobblingly, her wheel chair slowly pulled from behind as two gentleman stood near.

Dr. Siddiki prayed and spoke words of Faith over Mom, we agreed together for her healing, Mama begin to take baby steps, as she gained courage she kept walking I cried uncontrollably. I saw her desire and will to try coming back; I saw her desire and a glimmer of hope in her eyes.

For the first time, my Mom took literal steps of independence, it was her time and my “Beautiful Moment” in 2011 a true Miracle. Surrounded by the most beautiful women I know (Mom) I will always remember that day.

2012 is a time to live beautifully, "Living Beautifully” means taking time to reflect on those remarkable moments that punctuate our lives. I’d like to hear about an indelible memory that changed you’re live in 2011.

I believe in miracle do you?

"Resurrecting Dead Dreams"

Happy 2012

It's time to resurrect your dead dreams. As children we dreamed of being teachers, doctors, engineers, nurses, firemen, dancers, and singers. However as we grew older, many of those dreams changed based on our talents, maturity and the advice we received from our parents, teachers and well-meaning friends.

God created each of us with specific talents and abilities; he determined the plan for our lives long before we were conceived. It's time for us to manifest what's on the inside.

What dormant vision had God given you? What dreams do you have inside that have not yet materialized? No matter what stage of life you're in right now, you'll be amazed and surprised what God can do with your dreams!

Each morning began to spend time with God, make him your first priority and he will unfold his wisdom to you and that's vital for your success.

When we operate within the realm of God's divine plan for our lives. We will not have to guess which door to open. "However, getting to the place is a process" but worth enduring.

2012 is here, God has given us a fresh start it's time to begin again. This new year, will demand discipline, steadfastness, determination, focus and unwavering faith.

It’s time to wake-up! Your dreams are waiting!

Believing in your greatness!

"New' Year's Resolutions"

New Year's resolutions everyone makes a list. We make them so easily at the end of a year, but without a firm resolve to "carry them out". Our Resolutions become useless words, unproductive commitments, and lofty ideas that are never realized because there’s no real plan of action to get there.

"What are you waiting for"? I'm simply saying, your resolutions have no power without a solid plan! When you make a resolution make sure you complete it with a firm resolve. I promise you opposition will come, ask me how I know? You may get off course and get knocked down, but get right back-up and on track. Take a stand and resolve now, not to quit! It’s decision time and the time is now to hit your target.

When trouble comes stand strong against whatever gets in your way. Take your goals to God in Prayer and get His advice and direction. Follow-up and follow-through is key in hitting your bulls-eye.

Purpose in your heart that 2012 will not be wasted with dashed dreams of hope that will never happen. Plant seeds and set in motion things that will produce results! Disconnect from anything and anyone that is not a part of your larger vision and plans. Whatever your desires you can do it! You can make it! I'm with you! You must have a beginning and a starting point, don't put off tomorrow what you can do today. Stand strong to complete your goals.

Like any idea or good intention you must oversee and stay on top of your resolutions. Create small measurable goals and watch your growth and progress. Stand defiant in the face anything through prayer and spiritual warfare until you're goals are complete.

While you're planning your "Yew Years" goals, let me give you a jump start.
1. Purpose in your heart to Win.
2. Keep your Goals before you each day.
3. Take one Day at a time.
Make your Resolutions and I’ll see you at the finish line.

"Don't Follow the Tread and Fall in the Sex Trap."

In recent years there’s been a larger controversy brewing about weather, Man and Women are born Gay. No one is born gay! I do not and will not agree with popular opinion, a sex change operation will not make you a man, if you were born a women, I don't care what body part is cut off or what prosthesis you add to be a man this wrong way of thinking doesn’t negate how God the Father created mankind.

The popluar song writer lady Gaga penned a song in 2011 about the alternative lifestyle to make it acceptable that She and others were "Born This Way."Serious!? Really!

I’m surprised that “Oprah” has given the so called experts a platform in her Master Class series so they can speak freely and talk to millions saying that being Gay is a gift from God! NOT!! I thought Oprah was smarter than that, why would Oprah even allow the panelist on her show? What BIBLE are these folks reading?

PAY ATTENTION PEOPLE: Homosexuality is an abomination according to the Bible (Leviticus 20:13). An abomination is a sin that disgusts God. Sin is the violation of God's commandments. Romans chapter one goes into depth explaining the progression of wickedness that leads to a homosexual lifestyle. Homosexuality goes contrary to the natural of things as well as the Word of God. No person is born gay it’s a choice.

We are all free moral agents, we pick, we select, and we have the power to choose, that’s what makes us different from animals. When God created the earth, he made man in his image and likeness. If man was born gay, or bisexual then God failed to give us the ability to reproduce and have children. That is not the case, That would mean that God is imperfect. It is man's evil heart that causes him to behave like an animal.

God has created mankind upright; but sin has destroyed humanity. The word “gay” and the rainbow symbol have been stolen by the homosexual community to represent their sinful agenda. The only truly "marriage” is between one man and one woman, the way God intended for it to be.

The Bible calls homosexuals “Sodomites.” This word carries the implication of judgment with it, for God destroyed Sodom for their wickedness, which included homosexuality (Genesis 19:1-13). Thus, it should not come as a surprise that I don't and won't agree with the liberals.

I'd like to hear your thoughts on falling into the Homosexual SEX Trap!

Go Ahead, Assert Yourself!

One day while I was watching the Olympic Games on TV, I heard an athlete describe how hard she had worked to get the opportunity to compete in the Olympic Games. She was telling what it took for her to win the gold medal.

Well, what does it take to be a winner? Everyone wants to know the answer to that question. We all want to win! But when it comes right down to it, few of us are willing to pay the price to do it.

The athletes that compete in the Olympics don't just wake up one morning and say, "Hey! I think I'll be in the Olympics today. “They train for years to get there." Many train for a lifetime, they get out of bed every morning to run. They run in the cold, they run in the rain, they train when it's hot, they run no matter what!

What obstacle will you run over to reach your goals? Will you run past fear? Doubt? Insecurities?

I'd love to hear what goals you're reaching for and your plan to get there.

Who Is In Control!

With all that's going on in the world today, are you wondering who's in control and what's really going on? Is it you, or your friends? Are your circumstances in control?

Our flesh tries to control us. In Galatians 5:17 it says plainly, that the flesh is continually opposed to the Spirit. What the flesh wants, the Spirit never wants, and what the Spirit desires the flesh never agrees with. The flesh tries to force, manipulate, and control you. Obviously this can create a problem for the person walking according to the Spirit of Christ.

God says it clearly in Deuteronomy 30:19 I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curses; therefore choose life, that you and your descendants may live. The flesh opposes the plan of God and so does Satan. As this year draws to a close, I encourage you to take inventory of all the things that try to control you, and begin resisting it all except the control of the Holy Spirit.

The mind and the emotions try to control our stubborn wills, and it wants to control us. The devil want to control us, the past tries to control us, and fear and worry, are right there too. There's an endless list of other things that try control us.

Follow the Holy Spirit and allow him to lead you into the perfect will of God for your life. Now he's in control!
