Go Ahead, Assert Yourself!

One day while I was watching the Olympic Games on TV, I heard an athlete describe how hard she had worked to get the opportunity to compete in the Olympic Games. She was telling what it took for her to win the gold medal.

Well, what does it take to be a winner? Everyone wants to know the answer to that question! We all want to win. But when it comes right down to it, few of us are willing to pay the price to do it.

The athletes that compete in the Olympics don't just wake up one morning and say, "Hey! I think I'll be in the Olympics today. “They train for years to get there." Many train for a lifetime, they get out of bed every morning to run. They run in the cold, they run in the rain, they train when it's hot, they run no matter what!

What obstacle will you run over to reach your goals? Will you run past fear? Doubt? Insecurities?

I'd love to hear what goal you’re reaching for and your plan to get there.

Your Money Or Your Time?

Tough choice to save one, you often have to spend the other. Every day were faced with a time vs money dilemma. Should you hire a lawn service to the mow the grass or do it yourself?

Bake brownies for the PTA meeting or pick some up from the bakery? Here, are a few factors that you'll need to consider to make the most clearheaded decision.

Four questions to ask yourself before you make any time vs money decision.

1.Can I realistically pull this project off? Be honest. Is it safe or prudent for you to tackle the job yourself? Will it be difficult or relatively easy to learn any new required skills?

2.What kind of time commitment is really involved? Gauge how many hours the project with take from start to finish.

3.How much will this task cost to complete myself?

4.How much will I enjoy the process?

Just some food for thought!

Balancing Act

Between career, family, friends and carving out some precious time for youself and juggling all of life's responsibilities can be a real challenge.

Today is a new day and it's time to get some balance in your life. Here are a few simple steps I take to get centered.

I'm Present:Live in the now and try not to worry about the past or the future.

Be Healthy:Focus on moderation and the value of making healthy food choices.

Simplify:We often race through life trying to manage more than we can handle. De-clutter your life starting at home. Commit to clearing out unnecessary things that complicate your life and make time and space for what really matters.

Get Moving:A 20 minutes walk of physical activity will boost your emotional well-being. I'm feeling better just thinking about it. Try it, you'll feel healthier, more vibrant and alive find your balance today.
